Conversion of 0 to 20mA current into normalized voltage 0 to 10V. Multiple protections, easy set-up, economical.

This current-voltage converter is a mini-module with triple isolation (3000V~) that precisely converts “0 to 20mA” applied on its input into voltage “0 to 10V”.

 

Description

Input: 0 to 20 mA (ΔVin between terminals C and D ≤ 2.5V)

Output: 0 to 10V, on load ≥ 500 Ω

Accuracy: better than 0.2%

Regulation: < 5.10-3, with load varying from 500 Ω to 100 kΩ

Ripple: < 20 mV

Response time: < 6 ms

Isolation: triple, with input/output, input/supply and output/supply: 3 kV~

Power supply voltage:

  • standard, 24V DC ±10% / < 30mA / 500Ω on load and <16mA under no load
  • optional power supply:
    • 24V~ or 110V~ or 230V~ ±10% / 48Hz to 400Hz
    • 5V or 12V or 48V DC

Possible load: ≥ 500 Ω

Protections:

  • against inverted connections on the input and power supply
  • against accidental overcurrent on input: 40mA
  • against overloads and short-circuits
  • against bipolar overvoltages on the output
  • isolations 3000V~
  • against vibrations, and tropicalisation: with moulding
  • sealing iP67, except connections
  • elimination of the faulty-contact risk (no DIL switch)
