Isolated converter, voltage-current: 0 to chosen voltage (500mV to 1000V) into isolated 4 to 20mA

Voltage-current converter, isolated, multiple protection, economical, increased reliability – 0 to voltage defined by customer (from 500mV to 1000V) into 4 to 20 mA. 

This mini-module with triple isolation (3000V~) precisely and rapidly amplifies (or reduces) non-standard input signals. The input range is defined by customer when ordering.

Input: Vin = 0 to value of your choice (from 500mV to maximum 1000V)

Output: 4 to 20mA, on load ≤ 500Ω

Accuracy: better than 0.2%

Regulation: < 10-4, with load varying from 0 to 500Ω

Ripple: < 150 µA

Response time: < 3 ms (can be increased upon request)

Isolation: Triple

Power supply voltage:

  • standard, 24V DC ± 5%  /  ≤ 25mA  /  500Ω on load  and  ≤ 15mA under no load
  • optional power supply:
    • 24V~ or 110V~ or 230V~ ±10% / 48Hz to 400Hz
    • 5V or 12V or 48V DC

Possible load: 0 to 500Ω maximum

Protections:

  • against inverted connections on the input and power supply
  • against accidental overvoltage on input: 2 Vin
  • against overloads and short-circuits
  • against bipolar overvoltages on the output
  • isolations 3000V~
  • against vibrations, and tropicalisation: with moulding
  • sealing iP67, except connections
  • elimination of the faulty-contact risk (no DIL switch)
  • negligible temperature rise (high performance conversion)
